BV Products

BV Products remains committed to bringing the best solutions to our customers needs - whether that be through our own locally made equipment and materials or products and process supplied to us from our various overseas partners - all of whom are leaders in their respective fields.  We endeavour to keep up to date with all possible types of equipment and materials available in the continually developing world of mass finishing. If we do not have an immediate solution for your application we will find it and bring it to you for your personal evaluation.

Round Bowl Vibrator

Round bowl vibrators are simple to install, and use and easy to automate. They require a minimum of floor space, are able to develop excellent surface finishes and their actions and performance can be adjusted for processing of various shapes and sizes of parts.

Tub/Trough Vibrator

Older than the round bowl vibrator, the tub-type is rectangular in shape comparable to a traditional bath tub or horse trough. The primary difference between the bowl and tub is that these days tubs are generally dedicated to low volume production large parts finishing. A less fundamental difference of a practical nature is that as a general rule tub machines (unless of the through feed automated type) need to have the finished parts placed manually in the machines for finishing then removed the same way.

High Energy Centrifugal Disc

This style of mass-finishing machine has a round chamber with a rotating disc in the bottom. The disc rotates and forces the mass out and up against the stationary chamber wall, where it begins to slow down. The mass slows further as it reaches the top of the load, just before it descends back down the middle toward the spinning disc, where the cycle is repeated.

High Energy Centrifugal Barrel

It has two or more rotary barrels mounted on a rotating turret. As the turret rotates at relatively high speeds, centrifugal force is exerted on the contents of the barrels, which rotate on their own axes in the opposite direction, but at slower speed.

Waste Water Control

The manufacturing process consists of traditional stamping, forming, casting, machining etc of various metals. However, once the pieces are made, they must be finished, usually inside  and out and burrs removed. This can be accomplished using mass finishing of course, which also carries with it its own particular waste treatment provisions.

Driers

This is accomplished in either mass finishing equipment with ground corn cob that is usually augmented by heat or the more conventional style of tunnel and conveyor belt driers using hot air directed onto the traversing parts.

Jewellery Finishing

The high quality finishing of jewellery has always been part of the mass finishing process and we are now able to offer expertise, materials and equipment to enable local manufacturers to obtain the highest possible results consistently and at reasonable cost.
Our range of jewellery specific products ranges through equipment, medias, pastes,  chemical compounds and powders.

Abrasive blasting

Abrasive blasting is used to clean surfaces such as steel, brick, cement and concrete. A stream of abrasive material is propelled at high speed at a surface using air pressure, water pressure, or centrifugal force. The purpose of the blasting is to remove substances such as rust, scale, paint and graffiti from a surface.
